Hardcastle & McCormick was an American television series that aired from 1983 to 1986. Produced by Stephen J. Cannell, the series was a mix of crime and action.
The plot revolves around former judge Milton C. Hardcastle, played by Brian Keith, who is retired and feeling bored. He decides to use his time to bring to justice 200 criminals whom he was unable to convict during his tenure. To achieve this goal, he hires the young car thief Mark "Skid" McCormick, played by Daniel Hugh Kelly, who is being trained by Hardcastle to become a private investigator.
